So far not real happy with this radio/monitor. Screen is hard to see during the day, radio has poor reception and sound quality. Lilliput 7" VGA In-Dash Motorized Touchscreen GL701-NP/C/T.

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR. Besides the issues above, this monitor broke within 60 days. Their website service link did not work at the time. I did get someone on the phone a got an RMA. I sent it back and it has been 8 months. No repsonse via web and they don't answer the calls or return messages. They do now show an RMA service page with service@lilliputweb.net as the contact for service, but they have not responded once over the last 4 months.

1/23/2008: Lilliput did respond to a recent email I sent! This is good news, but they say they searched for my monitor and can not find it. To make matters worse I can't find the RMA number I gave them or find my receipt for shipping. Can't blame them for that! At least someone did respond and did try to find it there.

Basically I was robbed for $400+ dollars. I will update this if they ever to respond or send back a working unit.

I like the camera just fine. Color would be nice but you can't get as low LUX and high-res for the price. Camera is PC88WR 600 line B&W.

The camera is mounted on a High Torque Marine servo. This keeps it water proof and has a good bearing to make it last. The mounting plate is 1/8 Aluminum (easier to work with).

I may do a color at some point. While it won't help with placing a tire off-road it will make nicer video later!
